Through ‘LAB 02: SONIC INSIGNIA’, MYPRIDE has developed a system that translates the activity of microorganisms found in textile materials into sound. Microorganisms collected from various jacket components, including the fabric, badge, zipper, and other materials, are cultivated through an incubation process. Their electrical activity is then recorded as raw data, which is translated into audio signals and developed into music by Duelizm Void and Faqih Allawi. This page features the experimental music created for MYPRIDE’s ‘LAB 02: SONIC INSIGNIA’.
